Khaki — Support

Khaki 1.0 · iPhone · iOS 18 and later

If something is wrong, the three things that help most are: what you tapped, what happened instead of what you expected, and the version line at the bottom of Settings.

• Settings — tap the greeting at the top of the Today screen. That is the only door, and it is easy to miss the first time.
• Sample data — Settings → Data → “Fill with demo data” puts a full set of habits, goals, history and journal entries into the app so you can see what it looks like in use. It replaces whatever is there, so use it on a fresh install.
• Start over — Settings → Data → “Reset all data”.
• Language — Khaki follows your iPhone's language. Russian phones get Russian, everything else gets English; iOS Settings → Khaki → Language changes it for this app alone.

Do I need an account?

No. Khaki has no sign-up and no login wall, and every feature works on a fresh install. The “Account” section in Settings is an optional synchronisation for employees of White Rock LTD, who sign in with their work Microsoft account; it accepts nothing else and it gates nothing.

Where is my data?

In the app's own storage on your iPhone. Unless you sign in with a White Rock work account, nothing is sent anywhere — see the privacy policy.

Is there a backup?

Not yet. Khaki 1.0 has no iCloud sync and no export; deleting the app deletes its data. If that matters to you, tell us — it is the request we are counting.

My reminder did not arrive

Reminders are scheduled by your phone, not sent from a server. Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Khaki, then that the habit is scheduled for today and that its reminder is switched on. A paused habit reminds you of nothing, on purpose.

The timer's chime was silent

While a session is counting down, the signal plays through the ring/silent switch and the screen stays awake. If you lock the phone, the signal falls back to a notification — and a notification does obey the silent switch.

My streak broke while I was ill

It should not have. Open the habit → “Plan a pause”, cover the days you were away, and the streak steps over them. A pause set after the fact works the same way.

How do I delete my account?

Only relevant if you signed in: Settings → Account → “Delete account”. It erases the account and all of its data from our server and clears the copy on the phone. It does not touch your Microsoft work account.

Said plainly, so you do not go looking: no widgets, no Apple Watch app, no Apple Health, no iCloud sync, no data export, no iPad layout, no light theme, no landscape.
